Who becomes a Robin

People who are genuinely good at being present.

🎓
Students

Meaningful part-time work that fits around studies. What matters is warmth, not credentials.

🌟
Care-adjacent professionals

Teachers, therapists, social workers. People who know how to listen and make someone feel seen.

❤️
People with a personal connection

You cared for a grandparent. You know what loneliness looks like. You want to do something that genuinely matters.

What you'll do

Visits that feel like a good afternoon.

Sorting through old photo albums

Stories, memories, laughter. The afternoon disappears.

Cooking or baking together

A favourite recipe. The kitchen as conversation.

Reading aloud, cards, puzzles

Simple, shared, unhurried. The texture of a good afternoon.

Listening to favourite music

Jazz, classical, songs from another time.

Writing down memories & stories

Stories worth keeping. You help put them into words.

Simply talking

Opinions, observations, laughter. The most underrated thing in the world.

After each visit, you write a short warm note to the Circle — the family — a few sentences about the afternoon. Photos, a mood, a story. This is one of the most meaningful things you'll do.

What you'll get

Fairly paid. Genuinely supported.

Your first visit — and your first payment

Once matched, your first visit is scheduled. After it's complete, Robin processes your payment automatically within 3 business days. No invoices to send. No awkward conversations about money. No chasing. It just lands in your account.

How you get paid

Simple, fast, no admin.

Robin sits between you and the family so money never has to be part of the relationship. Here's exactly how it works:

You complete a visit

Log the visit through Robin. Takes 2 minutes. You also write your post-visit note to the Circle here.

Robin invoices the family

Robin handles all invoicing automatically. The family receives a receipt they can use for the Quebec home-support tax credit.

Payment lands in your account

Within 3 business days, every time. Via direct deposit or e-transfer. No invoices to send. No chasing. No awkward conversations.

You're an independent contractor

You set your own availability, accept the visits that work for you, and work on your own terms. Robin provides a T4A at year end for your taxes.
